Girl Scouts Work with Students from SHS for Robot Badge

     AMHERST - Amherst Girl Scout Junior Troop 58250 recently earned their “Design a Robot” badge and had the chance to work with the Souhegan High School First Robotics team. The troop would like to thank Nick Lambros and the students at SHS for their time and talents. It was great to learn so much more about robots and see it in action. Amherst Pack 613 Wins Two Awards

     AMHERST - On April 9th, Amherst Pack 613 participated in the Annual Chuck Wagon Derby at Camp Carpenter in Manchester.  Twenty-two scouts competed in many events, such as: knot tying, disability awareness, outdoor living, fire safety, first aid, and shooting sports.  Pack 613’s Charter Organization, The Lions Club, donated supplies to build the Pack’s two chuck wagons for the event.  Pack 613 hopes to make this an annual event for the Cub Scouts.  They walked away with two awards:  Citizenship and Map and Compass Skills.  Interested in scouting?  Contact
